The University of Leeds is seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to support the launch and coordination of a new UK-wide research initiative, the EPSRC NetworkPlus in Terahertz Systems. Based within the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, this role involves managing and facilitating the operations of a national network led by the Leeds Terahertz group, aiming to strengthen collaboration among leading UK and European researchers and industry partners in the rapidly advancing field of terahertz frequency electronics and photonics. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day project management, organizing workshops, conferences, and meetings for the Core Team, Advisory Group, and wider Network members, while maintaining strong engagement with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including academic institutions, funding bodies such as EPSRC, and industry representatives. This role also involves financial monitoring, report preparation, and direct professional support to the Network’s leadership team, including Professor John Cunningham. Ideal candidates will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and ensure the smooth execution of high-impact research initiatives. The position is full-time, fixed-term until 31 May 2028, and offers a competitive salary in the range of £39,355 to £46,735 per annum.
