High Voltage Substation Services Ltd (HVSS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high voltage substation projects across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, from initiation to completion. The role involves planning, executing, and closing projects while coordinating project teams, tasks, and communications to ensure all specifications are met within budget and timeline constraints. The Project Manager will develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans, monitor progress, make adjustments as needed, manage budgets, and report financial information to leadership. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, a proven track record of managing large-scale projects within the construction or electrical sector, strong leadership abilities, and expertise in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. This is a full-time role offering up to £60,000 per year, with benefits including a company pension, on-site parking, and UK visa sponsorship. The position requires flexibility in working hours (45 hours/week full-time, 20 hours/week part-time) according to business needs, and it is based on-site in Watford, East of England.
