The Product Owner will play a critical role in leading Agile development teams focused on electric vehicle (EV) propulsion systems, owning and articulating the product vision and delivery roadmap while ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution. The role involves defining, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog, translating complex stakeholder needs into actionable user stories, and driving system-level feature delivery from concept to launch. The candidate will collaborate closely with systems engineers, software architects, and integration leads to ensure product goals are technically feasible, while also leading Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives. Strong domain expertise in EV propulsion architectures, including electric machines, inverters, and battery integration, is essential, along with experience in embedded systems, control strategies, and hardware-software integration. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-tech automotive products using Agile methodologies. Proficiency in Agile tools (like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps) and knowledge of industry standards such as ASPICE or ISO 26262 is preferred. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and certifications such as CSPO are desirable.
