IC Resources is seeking a Principal Verification Engineer to join a cutting-edge start-up in Bristol, UK, developing world-class hardware platforms with advanced processors and novel architectures. The successful candidate will define and drive verification strategy across SoC, IP, and system levels, leading a team, implementing UVM/SystemVerilog-based environments, establishing key metrics, and collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary engineering teams. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining verification methodologies, tracking regressions, coverage, bug tracking, mentoring junior engineers, and driving innovation in verification tools and flows. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 8+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience, deep expertise in SystemVerilog/UVM, coverage-driven verification, debugging, scripting skills, and strong leadership and communication abilities. Experience in secure computing, cryptography, or high-performance processors is highly desirable. Visa sponsorship is available, with a hybrid working model of 2-3 days per week onsite.
