The Principal Trainer will lead the analysis, design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation of digital training solutions across designated Epic applications for both clinical and non-clinical staff. This includes developing high-quality, user-focused training materials such as manuals, quick guides, lesson plans, e-learning modules, and assessments, and delivering training through blended models including classroom, virtual, and 1:1 sessions. The role involves working closely with application and configuration teams, operational leads, and stakeholders to ensure that training aligns with clinical workflows and organisational goals. The Principal Trainer will assess user competency, gather feedback for improvement, and manage records via the Learning Management System (LMS). They will also supervise up to two trainers, support Epic training environment maintenance, contribute to workflow reviews and testing, and assist in change management across complex healthcare settings. Epic certification is required within six months of starting the role. The position demands excellent communication, planning, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure, multi-disciplinary environment. The role is based at the Education Centre in London, is full-time, permanent, and includes visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
