The role involves overseeing photolithography equipment installation, calibration, and maintenance; collaborating with design teams to turn photonic concepts into manufacturable prototypes; establishing process controls to ensure high device yield and reliability; resolving patterning and process deviation issues; and leading R&D projects in alignment with strategic goals. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, with 12+ years of experience in photolithography, particularly in compound semiconductor or photonic device manufacturing. Expertise in lithographic mask design, resist technologies, SEM, AFM, profilometers, and a strong understanding of photonics and optoelectronic devices is essential. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are also required.
