IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer for 3D Perception to join a fast-growing, multinational start-up in London, UK. The company, led by veterans in the 3D sensing industry, develops cutting-edge perception technologies for intelligent transport systems. The Principal Engineer will lead a small team of 2-3 engineers, designing, implementing, and optimising complex 3D perception systems for edge computing hardware, including multi-sensor tracking and fusion solutions. Responsibilities include leading architectural design, developing production-ready software and algorithms in C++ and Python, and applying deep learning and computer vision expertise to LiDAR, camera, radar, or depth-sensing systems. Candidates should hold an MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics, or a related field, have 5+ years of relevant industry experience, hands-on experience with OpenCV, PCL, and deployment of ML models on edge devices, and familiarity with ROS, Embedded Linux, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and model optimisation frameworks such as ONNX or OpenVINO.
