QDSL is hiring a Powertrain NVH Engineer to support the development of electrified powerpack NVH attributes from concept through to production. This role involves NVH testing of Electric Drive Units (EDUs), torque systems, and components at both system and vehicle levels using test cells, rigs, and CAE tools. The engineer will analyze competitor benchmarks, develop NVH targets, and collaborate with attribute leaders, calibration engineers, and validation teams to meet NVH requirements. Responsibilities include interpreting test data using LMS and Bruel & Kjaer systems, analyzing results to suggest design improvements, and using quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis. Key requirements include experience in NVH engineering, a solid understanding of electric powertrains and rotating machinery, and knowledge of gear and electric motor NVH design and development. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Remote contract work is available for overseas applicants, and UK visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates already in the UK.
