The PED Engineer at Quintessential Design Service Limited (QDSL) will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of new features within the Propulsion Electrical & Digital (PED) domain, ensuring that Feature Strategy & Operational Intent (FSOI) use cases are clearly defined, documented, and translated into actionable system requirements and test cases. The role involves managing feature intent alignment across teams, contributing to Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development, and overseeing Design Verification (DV) planning and execution. The candidate will collaborate across software, systems, validation, and HMI teams to ensure on-time and high-quality feature sign-off. Required skills include experience with feature development processes, FSOI documentation, HMI logic, and DV planning using tools like DOORS, JIRA, and Vector. Applicants should have 3+ years of experience as a Feature or Systems Engineer, preferably within propulsion systems, with strong coordination skills and the ability to manage technical dependencies. A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, Systems, or Automotive Engineering is essential.
