Capula Investment Management LLP is seeking an Operations Associate to join their Treasury Operations Team within the broader Operations Department, focusing on T+1 processes. The role involves reviewing and validating margin call data across various asset classes including Futures, Cleared Swaps, and Cross Product Margin; preparing daily reports such as cash forecast projections and bond collateral utilization; producing end-of-day NAV asset reconciliations; and flagging significant margin requirements. The Associate will ensure accurate authorization of cash wire instructions before currency cut-off times, investigate and resolve cash or margin issues raised by providers, and monitor settlement activities within custody and PB accounts for multiple asset types including Fixed Income, Equities, and Commodities. Responsibilities also include preparing internal stakeholder reports, contributing to process automation and efficiency initiatives, supporting project work, overseeing outsourced collateral services, escalating urgent issues, responding to internal and external queries, managing operational risk, maintaining procedures, training team members, and building relationships with brokers, custodians, administrators, and clearing brokers. The ideal candidate will hold a degree, have buy-side middle or back office experience, possess strong margin process knowledge, demonstrate coding skills (VBA, SQL, Python), be numerate with high attention to detail, and exhibit excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
