SEIMAF UK, now part of Capgemini Engineering, is seeking talented Mechanical Systems Engineers to work on major nuclear industry projects such as HPC and Sizewell C. The role focuses on Lifting & Handling and Radioactive Waste systems, involving responsibilities such as delivering manufacturing support for new equipment, commissioning on-site after installation, and ensuring safety case compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Engineers will work on Turbine Hall and Polar Cranes, ensuring that all equipment meets British regulations and maintains design integrity during manufacturing and commissioning. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 3–6 years of experience in lifting operations, mechanical handling, and supervision in regulated industries such as nuclear or heavy engineering. Knowledge of British standards, safety case validation, and equipment design justification is essential, while experience with HPC or other EPR projects is desirable.
