Join a growing wireless communications company based in Cambridge as a Linux Server Software Engineer, responsible for developing and maintaining Linux server-side applications using C and C++ (C++17 or later). This role involves designing and building high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems for next-generation R&D products. You will work across the full-stack server environment including PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Apache, customize and optimize Linux environments using tools like Yocto, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate real-time voice and data systems such as SIP, RTP, and WebRTC. The ideal candidate has strong C and C++ programming skills, solid experience with Linux server development, familiarity with web server environments, and knowledge of VoIP protocols and database design. Experience with SSL, Docker, virtualized environments, and test-driven development is a plus.
