The Learning and Development team at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Manager to manage, maintain, and administer the Trust’s Totara-based LMS, ensuring its functionality is optimised to meet the organisation’s training needs. The post holder will act as the LMS expert, providing technical and administrative support, developing and implementing courses, creating SOPs, configuring audiences, and delivering training to learners, administrators, managers, and course developers. They will liaise with IT teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers to troubleshoot issues, maintain system updates, and ensure integration with other IT/IM systems, including single sign-on, ESR, KPI dashboards, and cybersecurity requirements. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement, reviewing course layouts, producing reports and data analysis, supporting LMS governance, and ensuring effective use of the system across the organisation. Additionally, the post holder will supervise LMS administration colleagues, provide guidance on policy and processes, and work collaboratively to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service that supports the Trust’s strategic objectives and staff development.
