As a Lead NLP & Data Engineer at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, you will be responsible for leading the optimization of natural language processing (NLP) pipelines for clinical text processing, with a focus on balancing performance, cost, and accuracy. You will work on integrating NLP pipelines with structured databases to enhance clinical workflows and support data-driven decisions. A key part of your role will be to pioneer the future of clinical AI by developing and implementing solutions based on large language models (LLMs). This includes leading the evaluation and implementation of both commercial and open-source LLMs for clinical use cases, ensuring that the most appropriate technologies are deployed to improve healthcare delivery.
