The Lead Data Engineer (AI) at Arden University will play a key role in leading a product delivery squad to develop, optimize, and oversee machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) data architecture, tools, and pipelines. The position involves designing scalable data models, validating and cleaning data, and building ML and AI models to support the university's analytics and data science initiatives. You will be responsible for engineering solutions that efficiently handle large-scale data, ensuring seamless data flow for analytical purposes. As part of the Analysis, Insights, and Performance department, you'll collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to ensure that data products support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role requires proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, as well as familiarity with big data technologies like Microsoft Synapse/Fabric, Hadoop, and Spark. Additionally, knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data pipeline tools, and version control systems is essential.
