The KTP Associate: Product Innovation Lead at the University of Glasgow, based in London with AWTG Limited, is a 24-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership focused on developing LEAP, an AI-powered platform for personalised adaptive learning using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). The associate will bridge AWTG’s technology expertise with educational LLM knowledge, design LLM models with query classification and RAG systems, integrate and fine-tune models for educational contexts, and ensure ethical implementation. Responsibilities include translating academic research into practical AI tools, communicating complex AI concepts to stakeholders, conducting literature reviews, gathering user requirements, beta testing with students and educators, aligning platform features with market demands, and driving the project on time and budget. Candidates should hold an MSc or higher in Computer Science, AI, or related fields, with strong experience in AI/ML programming, educational technology, full-stack development, UX design, data analytics, product management, and cross-functional leadership. The post is full-time, fixed-term up to 2 years, with a salary of £43,500–£46,500, and may be eligible for UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
