About the job

The Junior Cyber Security Analyst role at Capua, a specialist technology and risk consultancy based in London, offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth firm supporting clients across financial services, government, and high-tech sectors. With a team of over 100 security professionals, the company is known for combining deep technical expertise with strategic insight to help organizations strengthen resilience against evolving cyber threats. As a Junior Cyber Security Analyst, you will assist in conducting security assessments such as vulnerability scans and penetration testing, monitor networks and systems for breaches or suspicious activity, support client engagements by documenting risks, mitigation strategies, and compliance requirements, and contribute to the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and controls. The role involves collaborating with internal and client teams to deliver actionable insights while staying updated on the latest threats and best practices. To be successful, candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, with a solid understanding of network protocols, system architecture, and threat landscapes, as well as familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Burp Suite, and SIEM platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, combined with eagerness to learn and prior exposure through internships, projects, or training, will be highly valued. The position offers a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000, performance-based bonuses, visa sponsorship, a structured career development plan, exposure to diverse clients and industries, continuous training and certification support (such as CompTIA Security+ and CISSP), and a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages professional growth through mentorship, team socials, and networking events.
