The IT Systems Programme Manager at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the clinical systems programme and overall digital strategy across multiple NHS Trusts. The role includes managing a portfolio of projects to achieve strategic objectives, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while improving work processes, user experience, and operational efficiency. The post holder will lead corporate projects from initiation to Trust-wide rollout, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships across executive, clinical, and administrative levels, and providing clear reporting on progress and issues. Applicants are expected to hold a master’s degree or equivalent, with specialist qualifications in project and programme management, structured systems analysis, and a proven track record of delivering multi-disciplinary IT projects in large organisations. Strong knowledge of programme and project management methodologies, planning tools, organisational skills, communication, and the ability to manage complex projects is essential. The role may require Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for applicants who do not already have the right to work in the UK, and successful candidates will be subject to standard pre-employment checks including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
