QDSL (Quintessential Design Service Limited) is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to lead and coordinate the integration and validation of EV propulsion systems—such as motors, inverters, batteries, and control units—into vehicle platforms. The role focuses on planning, executing, and analyzing PiL (Processor-in-the-Loop) and ViL (Vehicle-in-the-Loop) tests, managing Design Validation (DV) plans, conducting Design of Experiments (DOE), and applying structured problem-solving techniques like 8D and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve integration issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and first principles, with a background in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering, and possess excellent data analysis skills using tools such as CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB, and Vector. Responsibilities include capturing high-fidelity data, resolving complex performance issues, ensuring alignment with program milestones, supporting vehicle builds, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and documenting all findings and technical reports. Candidates should have 4–8 years of experience in EV or hybrid propulsion system development and integration, strong project ownership skills, and be adept in real-world system behavior analysis. QDSL offers a competitive salary, pension scheme, 28 days of holidays (annual + bank holidays), and UK work visa sponsorship for eligible candidates. Hybrid working may be available, and further details will be discussed during the interview stage.
