This role, part of the Workplace IT team within the Cloud and Connectivity team, involves building, deploying, and maintaining IT infrastructure on both cloud and on-prem platforms. Responsibilities include working with the infrastructure architect to deploy scalable solutions, implementing security protocols, automating infrastructure management using code, monitoring systems, managing upgrades and integrations, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should have experience with Linux and Chef, and with at least one core Jisc technology such as Azure, AWS, VMware, or Cisco. A professional qualification in infrastructure or relevant experience, plus ITIL v4 Foundation, is required.
