Viridien is seeking graduate scientists with degrees in Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics, or related Engineering to join their 2026 Graduate Programme. This role allows candidates to apply physics and mathematics to solve real-world problems and develop technical, leadership, and client management skills. Participants will work on building high-resolution 3D seismic images and subsurface models using advanced high-performance computing (HPC) facilities, while receiving full training in geology and geophysics if they have no prior experience. The role also involves managing complex technical projects, collaborating with global teams and clients, and contributing to innovation in geoscience and data science. Successful candidates should demonstrate logical problem-solving, enthusiasm for learning, and technical agility, along with evidence of leadership, teamwork, or customer service from university societies, extracurricular activities, volunteering, or internships. The programme offers a starting salary of £38,000 with a highly attractive bonus scheme, hybrid working with up to 2 days at home, initial 22 days annual leave with flexibility to buy/sell holidays, private medical and dental care, company pension, wellbeing support, cycle purchase scheme, and visa sponsorship or relocation support for eligible international candidates. The office is located in Crawley, UK, with excellent connections to London, the South Coast, and Gatwick Airport.
