Viridien is seeking an experienced and motivated HPC Helpdesk Team Leader to join its team in Bolney, UK, where you will manage and execute tasks related to IT infrastructure and systems administration, including overseeing staff responsible for installation, configuration, support, and maintenance of IT software, hardware systems, data/voice networks, and databases. Responsibilities include handling IT 1st line issues and escalating to 2nd/3rd line as needed, ensuring uptime and performance of IT systems, preparing reports for stakeholders, maintaining high customer satisfaction by resolving incidents, leading the helpdesk team with performance reviews and appraisals, developing internal knowledge bases, managing user accounts, performing data-related tasks like backups, and supporting business continuity. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of DC hardware, networking terminology, Linux, monitoring tools such as Zabbix, and Jira Service Management.
