The Head of Security Governance, Risk & Compliance is a senior leadership role within the Security Senior Management Team (SMT) at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, tasked with developing and executing the organization's security governance, risk, and compliance strategies. This position engages at all levels of the business, ensuring that regulatory compliance is met, security risks are managed effectively, and robust assurance processes are in place to support the Senior Leadership Team's (SLT) decision-making. The role includes overseeing security standards, policies, and guidelines, leading the implementation of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials, and conducting supplier assurance activities. The Head of Security GRC will also lead the Awareness Community of Practice and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance security practices. Additionally, this role involves proactively identifying emerging security threats, aligning risk management with industry standards, and managing security audits, certifications, and governance reports to ensure the organization maintains high levels of security integrity.
