Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a Head of Operational Security to join their English business unit in Cambridge, UK, on a hybrid working model with a minimum of two days per week in the office. This fixed-term, full-time role (18 months, 35 hours per week) offers a salary range of £66,000–£88,350 and presents an exciting opportunity to lead a passionate team responsible for exam security across a range of English language assessments delivered globally. The Head of Operational Security will design and implement robust, scalable security measures, develop processes and policies, influence cross-functional teams, monitor compliance, manage high-profile security risks, and represent Exam Services and English on group-wide projects. Candidates are expected to demonstrate leadership, innovation, and strategic influence, staying ahead of industry trends, challenging existing processes constructively, and applying knowledge of regulatory and recognition requirements to ensure assessments meet compliance standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans, and a collaborative, team-focused approach while managing stakeholders effectively.
