Tracer Cloud is building an advanced observability platform for high-performance computing to help scientists debug bioinformatics pipelines faster and accelerate breakthroughs in areas such as drug development. As Head of Front-End, you will lead all user-facing development, including real-time dashboards, complex data visualizations, and web and mobile applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. You will own the front-end architecture, connect UI to backend services like Clickhouse, Rust APIs, and AWS, manage deployment pipelines via Vercel and AWS, establish reusable components and design systems, collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to build cohesive experiences, and set technical standards while growing the front-end team. Candidates should have 3+ years of full-time experience building complex front-end or full-stack applications, deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, experience deploying production-grade web applications via Vercel or similar frameworks, strong product intuition, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to move fast, own major product areas, and shape the company’s engineering and product DNA from day one, with UK visa sponsorship available for exceptional candidates.
