Nu Quantum Ltd is seeking a Head of Control Systems to lead the Control, Software, and Electronics engineering teams (circa 10 people) in developing innovative quantum networking hardware. The role includes strategic leadership, team development, technical authority over control systems, system design, integration, testing, deployment, planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Candidates should have undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related disciplines, proven experience leading technical teams in hardware/control systems/embedded systems, expertise in electronic hardware, embedded software, FPGA development, real-time control systems, and multidisciplinary team management. Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills are required. Desirable experience includes quantum technologies, advanced instrumentation, high-reliability engineering, and scaling high-performance engineering groups.
