This hybrid role, based primarily at the Frenchay Campus in Bristol, is a vital part of the university’s IT delivery function and plays a strategic role in driving successful technical change and digital transformation initiatives across the institution. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and shaping the system analysis and project delivery capabilities, managing high-performing analyst and project delivery teams, and ensuring the development and application of best-practice processes. The role requires strong leadership experience within IT services, exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of governance, performance and risk management, and be capable of producing clear reports and documentation for senior stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves working closely with a range of internal and external partners to deliver impactful outcomes. UWE Bristol, known for its inclusive and multicultural environment, offers a wide range of employee benefits including generous leave, pension schemes, childcare support, and staff development opportunities. The university is open to applications from underrepresented groups and may provide visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, though visa and health surcharge costs are not covered. This is a rare opportunity to make a significant contribution to a forward-thinking university during a period of major digital transformation.
