Orbex is hiring a Harness Design Engineer (AIT) to design, develop, integrate, and validate electrical wiring and interconnect systems for launch vehicles. Responsibilities include creating 2D schematics and 3D routing, selecting connectors, cables, and shields, defining harness topologies, generating BOMs and wiring diagrams, performing harness validation and integrity checks, and participating in design reviews with FMEA hazard analysis. Candidates should have a background in Electrical, Avionics, or Aerospace Engineering, experience in harness routing and integration, proficiency with SolidWorks Electrical, and knowledge of aerospace standards including IPC/WHMA-A-620, ECSS-Q-ST, EMC/EMI, and DfMA principles.
