Solve Intelligence, a fast-growing YC-backed startup based in London, is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer (Back-End Leaning) to join their lean, high-performing engineering team and help build, scale, and optimize both the front-end and back-end of their AI-powered platform for patent drafting, prosecution, and IP portfolio management. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the core backend foundations from the ground up to support a large-scale market, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of the platform, while also contributing to the design and implementation of intuitive, human-centric user interfaces that make complex AI systems accessible to patent professionals. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to plan the product roadmap based on customer feedback, extract insights from client interactions to drive product-market fit, and assist in assembling a world-class engineering team while helping to define its culture and standards. Candidates should have deep expertise in Python, experience working with databases such as Postgres, and familiarity with full-stack development frameworks, with preferred skills in Typescript/React, commercial software development, AWS DevOps, and AI system integration. Experience with WYSIWYG HTML document editor APIs and IT security awareness is a plus.
