Aglide is hiring a Founding Engineer (Browser Automation) in London to build and enhance its core browser automation platform used by global enterprises to securely access, manage, and protect mission-critical applications. As a YC-backed startup (S23 batch) with a small, high-ownership team, Aglide combines an on-device browser agent and browser extension to autonomously run web-based tasks such as user login automation and lifecycle administration workflows, helping security teams enforce policies, maintain compliance, and reduce human error. In this role, you will improve the browser automation engine to handle increasingly complex tasks, develop a secure and reliable on-device browser environment, streamline the workflow builder for non-technical users, and strengthen end-to-end encrypted infrastructure. You will work across the stack—including TypeScript, Postgres, Electron (macOS/Windows/Linux), browser extensions, and automation tools like Puppeteer or Selenium—while collaborating directly with customers, diagnosing real-world issues, and shipping production solutions quickly. The ideal candidate has at least 1+ year of production software experience, strong debugging and systems thinking skills, a desire for ownership, and comfort working closely with customers.
