Orbex is seeking a Fluid Systems Design Engineer to support its AIT Department in designing, developing, analyzing, and integrating complex fluid delivery systems for test sites and spaceport operations. The role covers engineering LPG, Water Deluge, Gaseous Helium, Helium Transfer, and Liquid Nitrogen systems, conducting CFD, FEA, and thermal simulations, developing and executing test plans, overseeing fabrication and commissioning, and collaborating with propulsion and ground support teams for seamless integration. Candidates should have a Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering background with strong expertise in SolidWorks, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, high-pressure gas and cryogenic systems, numerical analysis tools, and engine performance modeling. Experience in aerospace or launch vehicle industries, cryogenic systems, and prototype testing is highly desirable.
