Edinburgh Napier University is seeking an experienced ESB Developer/Software Engineer to join their Data Orchestration & Reporting Team as they transition the university’s data integration architecture from an on-premises solution to a cloud-based service. The role involves implementing and supporting new and existing data integrations within the university, including both the on-premise SQL Server Enterprise Service Bus and a new Cloud-Based Modern Data Platform. The successful candidate will lead and develop performance-enhancing data integrations, participate in IS service development projects, and be fully conversant with change management and incident handling procedures. The role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, including Service Bus, Event Hub, Logic Apps, Data Factory, and Function Apps, as well as a degree in an IT-related discipline or extensive relevant experience.
