This is an exciting opportunity to join Cambridge University Press & Assessment as an Enterprise Architect, pivotal in transforming internal shared systems and driving innovation. The role involves providing architectural design leadership and implementation strategies for systems such as Finance and ERP, People, Publishing, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Management. You will bridge business needs and technology solutions, designing robust, scalable architectures aligned with strategic goals and integrating across multiple technology platforms. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the target enterprise architecture for internal shared capabilities, leading the design of complex architectures including cloud solutions, data platforms, and integration frameworks, creating and managing technology roadmaps, establishing architectural principles and guidelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying abreast of emerging technologies, mitigating architectural risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements, and engaging stakeholders to align business and technology strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of enterprise, solution, and technology architecture methodologies, experience with complex multi-vendor environments, and delivering SAP ERP, finance, and warehousing/logistics solutions. Proficiency in cloud platforms, data governance, enterprise integration patterns, API management, microservices, security architecture, and business process management is essential. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and experience leading cross-functional teams are required. The position offers a competitive salary of £70,400–£94,100, hybrid working in Cambridge, and a permanent contract.
