OLIX is hiring an Engineering Manager, Compiler & Performance Modelling to lead and scale high-performing teams responsible for building the compiler stack and performance models that define the capabilities of its Optical Tensor Processing Units (OTPUs). The role owns technical strategy and execution across compiler development and system-level performance modelling, including roofline, functional, and architectural analysis, while delivering complex cross-functional projects spanning optics, hardware, and software. You will hire, mentor, and grow world-class engineers, establish scalable engineering processes, and drive quality and reliability across pre-silicon emulation, compilation, and distributed inference, working closely with internal teams to align current and future OTPU performance with Olix’s product roadmap and long-term technical vision in a fast-paced, highly ambitious AI hardware environment.
