Orbex is seeking an AIT Engineer to support the assembly, integration, and testing of propulsion, fluid systems, and structural components of launch vehicles, as well as the design, upgrading, and maintenance of test sites, benches, and space ports. The role involves designing and commissioning new test benches, leading testing and assembly campaigns, planning and executing propulsion and structural tests, handling cryogenic testing, providing production support, developing test and qualification plans, preparing devices for test, analyzing test data, and executing launch vehicle assembly and integration trials. Candidates should have a background in mechanical, aerospace, industrial, or related engineering disciplines, hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, cryogenics, liquid oxygen systems, process piping, and test campaigns, along with familiarity with safety-critical environments. Desirable skills include CAD (SolidWorks), simulation tools, testing instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure.
