This role is for a Band 7 Energy Engineer at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for applying technical knowledge in building services engineering with a mechanical or electrical bias, identifying and implementing energy-saving opportunities, and supporting sustainability initiatives across three hospital sites. The position involves close collaboration with the in-house Facilities Management team and engineers, project management, financial analysis, energy policy development, and mentoring colleagues. The candidate must have experience managing building/environmental technology, delivering responsive estates services, and be able to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels. Required qualifications include HNC/D in Building Services Engineering, with desirable membership in professional institutions (e.g., EI, CEng, RICS, RIBA) and/or a degree in environmental science or engineering. This role offers fixed-term employment for 15 months, full-time with flexible working options, and Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
