The Emissions Calibration Lead Integrator – Mechanical Engineer role at Quintessential Design Services Limited (QDSL) is a high-level technology position responsible for designing and developing propulsion systems in the automotive sector, focusing on emissions, aftertreatment, and gas path engineering for both diesel and gasoline engines. This role involves deep expertise in emissions simulation, system architecture, compliance with global environmental regulations, and integration of xHEV propulsion systems including MHEV, PHEV, and ICE technologies. The candidate will lead system-level design, develop functional and physical architectures, conduct functional failure analysis, and manage key engineering artifacts such as logical architecture diagrams and MBSE models. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams including CAE, powertrain, calibration, and software engineers to ensure the delivery of robust, legally compliant, and customer-centric solutions. Strong experience in system integration, control strategies, calibration, thermal and energy management, and familiarity with tools like Simulink, 8D, and FMEA is essential. The role also demands leadership in technical reviews, mentoring team members, and supporting future technology studies.
