The EHS Technician at GE Aerospace in Prestwick, Scotland will report functionally to the EHS Leader and operationally to the Lead EHS Specialist. The role requires strong knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and technical expertise to promote and maintain a safe working environment and culture. Key responsibilities include providing EHS guidance to production teams, conducting audits, completing and reviewing risk assessments, supporting management of change processes, maintaining EHS documentation (including Gensuite system), participating in and leading Framework 2.0 Teams, assisting in best practice sharing, participating in accident investigations and risk reduction campaigns, supporting environmental initiatives, collecting and reporting EHS metrics, and coordinating EHS training. Essential qualifications include a NEBOSH General Certificate, excellent communication skills, PC literacy, the ability to work in and lead teams, and experience in engineering or technical environments. Preferred qualifications include a NEBOSH Diploma or IEMA Certification and EHS training experience or qualifications.
