The EAME Network Team Leader at Viridien will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, performance, and development of the network operations team. This role includes leading and managing a team of network engineers to ensure the reliable and secure operation of all network systems. The Network Team Lead will be responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-performance computing network infrastructure while offering capacity planning recommendations aligned with operational growth. The position also involves acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring smooth production operations through careful planning and coordinated changes, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients. The successful candidate will mentor junior engineering staff, collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, provide detailed documentation on network designs and standards, and lead local, regional, and global networking projects. Additionally, the role requires participation in regional on-call support rotation and limited domestic or international travel. Applicants should have at least 10 years of experience with High Performance Computing systems, 5 years of leadership experience, and a deep understanding of data center network architectures and protocols.
