This is a technology-focused opportunity under the UK Government’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme, offered in collaboration between the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and One Care. Based in Whitchurch, Bristol, this 24-month full-time role focuses on implementing digital transformation in healthcare, particularly remote patient monitoring systems. The aim is to help general practices detect patient health changes early, reduce travel, increase efficiency, and empower self-care, while easing clinician workloads. You will lead this transformation with support from UWE's academic team, working on interoperability across healthcare information systems, analyzing and interpreting data, and applying emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Large Language Models. The position offers a dedicated £2,000 annual training budget and KTP-provided business and management skills training. You’ll build relationships across healthcare professionals, apply technical knowledge in real-world settings, and contribute to the future of health and care in the UK. Visa sponsorship may be available through the Global Talent Visa (Endorsed Funder route), although applicants must cover their own visa and health surcharge costs and are encouraged to explore other visa options if required. UWE Bristol is committed to diversity, personal development, and creating an inclusive environment for talented professionals from all backgrounds.
