R&D Engineer for alternative-fuel commercial vehicles, based in Liverpool, UK. This full-time, permanent position involves designing and installing R&D prototypes, developing and validating electrical and mechanical systems, and creating wiring harnesses for both low and high-voltage applications. You'll work with CAN-based systems for configuration and data analysis, and collaborate with partners and clients both in the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience), 2–3 years of vehicle systems integration experience, and strong skills in wiring diagrams and technical drawings. Desirable skills include knowledge of engines, fuel cells, electric drivetrains, high-voltage systems, and 3D CAD.
