IC Resources is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer for their rapidly growing hardware team in Cambridge, offering a hybrid work model with at least three days onsite. The role provides a salary of £70,000–£85,000 (DOE) plus equity and bonus, with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates already living and working in the UK. The successful candidate will take full ownership of functional verification across hardware systems, collaborating with hardware designers and embedded software engineers to deliver high-performance solutions verified from the ground up. Responsibilities include defining and implementing verification plans based on design specifications, developing scalable SystemVerilog testbenches with checkers, coverage groups, and reference models, designing and running self-checking, directed, and randomized tests, and maintaining the verification environment by tracking regressions, bugs, and coverage metrics. The role requires strong commercial experience in functional verification, expertise in testbench frameworks such as UVM or OVM, proficiency with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA), and familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
