IC Resources is seeking a highly motivated Design Verification Engineer to join a rapidly growing hardware team in Cambridge, UK, working in the cutting-edge domain of quantum computing hardware. The candidate will take full ownership of functional verification for hardware systems, collaborating with hardware designers and embedded software engineers to ensure high-performance, reliable solutions. Responsibilities include defining verification plans based on design specifications, developing scalable SystemVerilog testbenches with checkers, coverage groups, and reference models, designing and running self-checking, directed, and randomized tests, maintaining the verification environment, and driving quality and performance across block-level and system-level designs. Candidates must have strong commercial experience in functional verification, expertise in testbench design using UVM or OVM frameworks, proficiency with SystemVerilog assertions (SVA), and familiarity with multiple programming languages including C, C++, and Python. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, and the role requires 3 days per week onsite in Cambridge.
