Wintermute is one of the largest crypto-native algorithmic trading companies in digital assets, providing liquidity algorithmically across most cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms. The company offers a broad range of OTC trading products and supports high-profile blockchain projects and traditional financial institutions entering the crypto space. As a DeFi Algorithmic Trader, you will work within a highly collaborative team to design and implement trading strategies, develop and maintain backend infrastructure, and support on-chain search systems. This role requires strong programming skills in Python, Rust, or Go, experience with Linux and Git, and a solid understanding of statistical analysis, quantitative trading, and high-frequency market-making strategies. Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, smart contract development, and the Foundry toolkit is also desired. Candidates should be passionate about exploring DeFi protocol design and microstructure. The position involves wearing many hats, contributing across multiple codebases, and working closely with experienced traders and developers.
