This is a full-time, permanent Band 7 role for an EHR Senior Reporting Analyst at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, jointly supporting both King’s and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trusts. The position focuses on developing and implementing advanced analytics and reporting solutions using Epic’s Cogito tools, including Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and querying the Caboodle data warehouse with SQL. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with IT, clinical teams, data warehouse groups, and operational staff to design, test, and deliver impactful reporting solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making across healthcare services. Responsibilities include analysing business requirements, creating end-to-end reporting systems, producing documentation, supporting Epic upgrades, and facilitating the use of self-service tools by other teams. Applicants must have substantial experience in informatics or analytics, preferably within the NHS or healthcare sector, along with a strong command of SQL, data visualisation tools like Power BI or QlikView, and experience working with large and complex datasets. A degree in an informatics-related subject is required, and those without current Epic certification must pass an online Sphinx assessment before interview and earn accreditation shortly after joining. Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as is the ability to travel between multiple London hospital sites. The role offers visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route and supports a hybrid working arrangement.
