The Cyber Security Engineer at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is a key technical role within the Cyber Security Team, reporting to the Cyber Security Manager. The engineer will manage day-to-day operations, respond to cyber threats, and assist with delivering the Trust’s Cyber Security Strategy aligned with NHS England’s Data Security Protection Toolkit. Duties include maintaining and upgrading security systems, monitoring performance and capacity, investigating alerts, handling NHS England High Severity Alerts, conducting data analysis and reporting findings, and supporting policies, procedures, and threat intelligence. The role spans across multiple cyber domains, including phishing and malware analysis, ensuring a proactive approach to protecting the Trust’s digital infrastructure.
