This C# Developer role is with a VC-backed cloud security start-up in London, focused on drastically reducing response times to security incidents from months to minutes using intelligent cloud-based methods. The candidate will work onsite five days per week and will be responsible for designing and building distributed systems in C# for cloud-based threat detection, developing scalable services that handle high-volume event data with real-time performance, collaborating closely with founders to shape technical direction, and driving innovation in security engineering across architecture, deployment, and platform capabilities. The role requires strong experience in object-oriented programming and distributed systems, a first-class degree in Computer Science or a related field such as Maths, Physics, or Engineering, 2–4 years of experience in C#, strong computer science fundamentals, and end-to-end project experience from design to deployment. Additional skills in Python, Go, AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes are advantageous. The start-up offers a competitive salary of £90,000–£120,000 plus equity and pension benefits, and visa sponsorship is available for exceptional candidates who meet the requirements.
