About the job

HVSS specializes in the design, construction, installation, and commissioning of high voltage substation systems up to 400kV. The Commissioning Engineer will plan and execute commissioning testing of substation equipment, including protection systems, transformers, and GIS/outdoor switchgear. Responsibilities include preparing commissioning documents, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, collaborating with project managers, conducting site inspections, and mentoring junior engineers. Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, proven commissioning experience in high voltage infrastructure, strong technical knowledge up to 400kV, project management and leadership skills, and IT proficiency for complex relay schemes. Flexible working hours (45/week) with potential work from home, site, or office.
