SEIMAF UK is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer – ANSYS – FEA – RCC for their Bristol, UK office (hybrid). This role involves working on advanced civil and structural engineering projects for nuclear sites such as Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. Candidates will perform structural calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS, SAP2000, or similar software, ensuring compliance with Eurocode and other applicable standards. Responsibilities include preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documentation for reinforced concrete structures, performing advanced analysis of seismic, impact, and blast effects, collaborating with drafting teams, BIM coordinators, and other engineers to integrate design requirements, and preparing detailed technical reports. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance within the Nuclear Engineering department. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, at least 3 years of civil work experience, and proficiency in structural analysis and 3D BIM software such as Tekla or Navisworks.
