This role requires the preparation and execution of CAE models using tools like Abaqus, Hypermesh, LS-Dyna, Simlab, and FEMFAT, along with post-processing of results to ensure alignment with design requirements. The engineer will collaborate closely with design and physical testing teams to correlate simulation data with real-world test results and contribute to method optimization for future assessments. The position demands strong knowledge of solid mechanics, dynamic structural behavior, fatigue theory, and thermo-mechanical analysis, as well as experience in topology and shape optimization. Candidates should have a background in power unit systems, ideally in OEM settings, and be capable of delivering high-quality analysis, solving durability issues, and supporting product development at various stages. The role also includes supporting design freeze activities, continuous tool improvement, and prototype and production support.
